Electric Avenue at the Summer Cruise, Dawson Creek, July 10, 2022
On July 10, 2022, downtown Dawson Creek will host the 26th annual Mile Zero Cruisers Summer Cruise show n’ shine. This is the largest car show in Northern B.C. with 400+ custom cars on display and 10,000+ people in attendance. The event is organized by the Mile Zero Cruisers Car Club and the full event spans July 8-10 with the show n’ shine on Sunday, July 10.
This year, Emotive is a platinum sponsor of the event and will host the Electric Avenue part of the show. We will have electric vehicle owners from all over BC with their cars on display, plus EVs for test drives provided by OEMs/dealerships.
For EV Owners with display vehicles
Emotive will reimburse registration fees for EV owners who want to attend and display their vehicles with us. We have limited spots so please:
- Contact Michael Stanyer at the Fraser Basin Council to verify that a spot is still available. It’s best to contact Michael by email, but you can also phone: mstanyer@fraserbasin.ca, 604-488-5364.
- Once your spot is verified by Michael, register your vehicle. See the online registration here. Please indicate that your vehicle is electric when you register. The show n’ shine is on Sunday, July 10, but Emotive will reimburse registration fees for the entire weekend. We hope that you can participate in all the events!
- You will receive a reimbursement cheque after attending the Show n Shine.
- Do you have a modified EV or an exciting new model to show? Please contact Michael to discuss additional support if you need to travel to the event.
For OEMs/Dealerships
If you would like to get exposure for your vehicle but cannot send a staff person, we can potentially help you out! Our staff are travelling for this show, and we can arrange to pick-up and return a vehicle. We have made such arrangements with OEMs and dealerships in the past.

About Emotive
Emotive is a B.C. wide campaign to raise public awareness about plug-in electric vehicles. It is one of a suite of programs offered under the Province of B.C.’s CleanBC Go Electric Program. The Emotive campaign is funded through the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low-Carbon Innovation and is administered by the Fraser Basin Council Society’s Plug In BC team.
