Loblaws Announces Electric Truck Commitment in Vancouver

In the early morning hours of Novemeber 3rd, Loblaws held a media event to announce their commitment to electrify 400 fleet vehicles with the demonstration of a BYD 53ft electric truck. This is one step of a broader commitment to reduce the company’s carbon footprint 30% by 2030.

Federal Environment Minister, Catherine McKenna, Vancouver Mayor, Gregor Robertson, and Loblaws’ execs participated in the event. Loblaws owns the President’s Choice brand and Asian grocer T&T.
